Isavia's carbon footprint

Isavia has set a goal to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases in its operations and thus show responsibility towards the environment and society. From Isavia's individual establishments, the scope of operations at Keflavík Airport is the largest. Keflavík Airport is working on carbon offsets according to the Airport Carbon Accreditation, an international system designed for airports. The extent of emissions is defined according to three sources: firstly from Isavia's operations, secondly from purchased electricity and heat, and thirdly from emissions from other parties related to Isavia's operations.
